I've never heard of it, and I may or may not try it. So I went with the comedy fourth option

Maybe I'll try it, but I had to vote "comedy fourth option"... I just couldn't restrain myself. Can't tie knots with my teeth.

as i understand it, rooibos flushes your body of freeradicals, those cancer causing thingies which are bad.

I do like it very much. It really does soothe your stomach when you are sick.

I really love this stuff. And it's a nice perk that it happens to be good for you, too!

AdiaStar and I both drink a lot of it. We've only been drinking it for a couple of weeks, and I'd say we drink about 3 cups each a day! and of course...I come from a tea drinking nation!
Mia Stella likes her pacifier dipped into it too. Regards Angelus71

You missed out "I can take it or leave it", which is what I would have chosen, so I haven't voted

I didn't know it did anything good, I just drink it cos it's caffeine free but looks like normal caffeine junkie tea. And you can dip biscuits in it.

I found this today in the refrigerated beverages section of the grocery store and bought it specifically because I remembered this thread. Whoa, VRF is influencing my food shopping! When I first noticed the poll, I voted that I hadn't had it (in fact had never heard of it before) but would try it. Well, I now I have tried it and I can't say that I like it very much, but maybe it will grow on me. It definitely has a unique flavor that I can't quite put my finger on. Is it normally supposed to be served hot? Maybe it would taste better to me that way.
I don't know about free radical elimination, but the carton does make some mild claims about the healthiness of the tea for everyone from babies to joggers, as illustrated by the cartoons on the side of it. This is one thing I love about Japan. It is cartoon central. They are everywhere! (Sometimes they're are even unintentionally hilarious. My boyfriend's favorite example of this is a brochure our realtor gave us about insurance, which had cartoons depicting anthropomorphized fires, earthquakes, and typhoons merrily devastating the apartments of smiling cartoon residents. I guess they were smiling because they had insurance, but still... what the ?) FYI: The writing on the front of the carton talks about how they import the tea leaves from South Africa, where Rooibos tea is apparently very popular.
