Yay ME! thread

So, I think it would be nice to have a thread where we can kinda brag about anything. A pat yourself on the back thread.

So heres mine:

On friday, I decided I was going to ride with Phillip to work. Not 3 minutes into my ride I ate it hard. I had a flat, which was not there when we left and went around a turn and took off much skin.

After a few days of recovering I got back on the horse... I did it! I rode 17 miles each way ( I just started riding my bike again, and other than some mountian and cross country type stuff I only ride around my small town, so this was a big step for me)

I was so afraid that I wouldnt be able to do it.

SOOOOOO...

YAY ME!!!!

Man alive, my legs hurt just thinking about that ride. Then again, that may just indicate how wildly out of shape I am

Anyhow, YAY for lolamako!

Yay for me and the Chico team! We are organizing an awesome screening of Peaceable Kingdom and I feel so proud to be a part of it. I also handled my first press call ever today, and that was pretty cool.

Also, yay for me for catching yet another kitten that was dumped off at the farm today.

Also, yay for me for organizing a staff lunch at work today that went surprisingly well.

Yay for me yesterday, I ran about 3 miles or so in Bidwell even though my knee was killing me and it was dark and scary out. Afterwards I made buckeye's (without the paraffin wax, thankyouverymuch) for the staff lunch today. They were a big hit, and nobody ate any wax.

see it's so much easier to give yourself a pat on the back more often if you just lower your standards a little bit... Like YAY FOR ME, i stayed awake all day!!!! lol just kidding, seriously i like the thread idea though, i'll have to dig it up some day in the far future when i've done something noteworthy.
