I don't have the $200 most people on craigslist are asking for Radiohead tickets (the shows are tomorrow and Tuesday).

If I don't find round, undecorated hat boxes in the next three minutes, my head is going to explode. They are ridiculously hard to find and I'm getting frustrated.

Oh JK an exploding head. Guess once it explodes your hat box problem is solved. Can't wear a hat if you have no head.

True, but you would probably only need like a shoe box since your head has taken on a newer shape of bitty pieces.

A hat box is a box for hats, but evidently what I was looking for is a paper mache box, since searching for that brought up about a million of them.

And everyone knows you put exploded heads in bowling ball bags, not hat boxes.

yeah, that can be nerves aggravated by chronically tight shoulders, from so much computering.

It can also be heart related

Get thee to a doctor!

Poor {{Dandy}}. Sounds like it sucks. I had a similiar problem with my elbow when I got a promotion at work and was doing a repetitive task for several hours a day (well, being work, it was actually more like 7 hours a day, rather than several). It took something like 3 weeks to clear up, so it may take a while, if you are actually experiencing a pinched nerve. Hope you feel better soon!

My freaking right arm still hurts. Stupid nerves.

Also, I'm editing/building a 50 page power point presentation for display to Executive VP's. So I have to figure out how to say stuff, while minding their general dumbness

Poor Dandy and Grog. My sympathies to you both...

Dandy, if you go to either a massage or physical therapist, may I suggest that you go to one who works on athletes or sports medicine? My feeling is that these practitioners would be used to working with healthy people who care about their bodies and are willing to work to achieve a goal, rather than with people who want the work done to them so they don't have to. I hope that makes sense. I went to a PT who specializes in treating athletes -- he was great.

For both Dandy and Grog -- yoga has been found to be helpful with RSI conditions. You would want to work with a style of yoga that encourages modifications to make the poses comfortable and therapeutic for you, as in the Iyengar or Anusara traditions. I am not speaking from experience here, however.

Grog, you should take heed of MountainVegan's rants about philosopher's writing in the philosophy forum... Gotta keep things clear and simple
