Hey, I'm finding out I'm a tree hugger, and well frankly I would any and all input as to where one might find some recycled paper notebooks? I know of Earthwise and Green Earth paper, and even seventh generation, but none of the stores I know of carry them. Any suggestions?? I'm in dire need.

You can find recycled notebooks and paper at most office supply stores. I find that the supply does vary, both between various chains/indie store, and even from store to store within a chain.
Mead offered a nice line of recycled spiral bound notebooks, had corrugated cardboard covers, and not only did I find them in Office Depot, I found them for pennies during school-supplies season at Big Lots!

Definitely browse your local office supply store/Target/Wal-Mart/whatever. :) I haven't bought a notebook in years (I stocked up BIG TIME in college). I had recycled spiral notebooks from Wal-Mart in second grade ('90-'91). I can only assume they've become more common since.
I can't speak for now, but a few years ago, some mainstream stores were carrying brown cardboard covered notebooks of recycled lined paper. The covers had cute hippyish peace sign, etc. type covers. Had I not been swimming in paper, I'd have bought some. :)
