Just wanted to share a really beautiful, moving song with y'all. A friend a mine played it for me a few years ago and it absolutely touched my heart. It's a song called "The Last Leviathan" recorded by Rory Block. It's written from the perspective of the last whale on earth. The first time I heard it, it turned me into a sobbing fool, and still I can only listen to it a few times a year...it's pretty powerful. You can find it on Rory's "Tornado" CD.
