This totally sounds like, "I have this friend who likes this guy..." but really, my sister just keeps asking me questions I need some help answering.

She has a friend who works for Johnson & Johnson and has an opportunity to get a whole lot of stuff (Q-tips, bandaids, Tylenol, etc.) really really cheap. She's torn because she knows they test on animals. She still hasn't decided what to do about makeup and feels like maybe she should take advantage of this opportunity to get a lot of it cheaply. So her question was if anyone knew what products exactly were tested. Apparently their website makes it seem like it's only drugs and not cosmetic products. I feel like that might just be because they don't want to come off as as bad as they are.

Really I think she just needs someone to say, "don't do it." She seems to feel guilty even thinking about it. I don't want to make the decision for her, though. I'd rather give her some information and let her make the choice.

I didn't know that Johnson & Johnson was the parent company of some cosmetic companies. Do you know which ones?

This has a list of the operating companies: http://www.jnj.com/product/brands/index.htm;jsessionid=CT5BVNNQFKDPKCQPCB3SZOYKB2IIW NSC

The only one I see is Neutrogena. I think they have cosmetics.

I guess it is her personal decision in the end. I avoid using any products which are made by a company that condones animal testing in any way. It has taken time, but alternatives are available. For me, saving money is less important than choosing cruelty free, and choosing products not tested on animals from a company that still carries out animal testing is not an option.
