I live on the northside, roscoe village to be exact, Belmont and Damen to be even more exact.
A ride, or a very very good explanation as I've never been to the area where soul veg is.

I was just wondering why Alice & friends, my favorite vegan restaurant (Even though It's cultist and I only tried Chicago diner and this raw food place) was not an option.
Also, I found on the internet an address of soul veg in the northside, somewhere near damen and roscoe, but when I went there it wasn't there! Do you know anything about that?

Weird! I wish Soul Veg was near Damen and Roscoe! I'd be eating there much more often....But sadly, all the yummy soul food veg restaurants are on the south side.

Hey i had a GREAT time as always and you can see pictures here (http://vegan.meetup.com/photos/). The staff was very accommodating and the food was yummy and served with the QUICKNESS! They had a whole room setup for us. Many new people showed....

Jen and I really enjoyed the Soul Vegetarian East get-together! We are definitely looking forward to future meetups with you guys. We will probably miss the next meetup as baby Aleksi is due in the next three to four weeks. Until next time ...
